GILD is a company by International Illustrator, run by Philip Rose. A lot of popular
artists have joined, it must be said that a lot have left again also.
This company seems to have ceased to exist. No website is to be found anywhere.

Word has it that a member of the PSP community spoke to Philip Rose yesterday.

Apparently GILD has been acquisitioned and they will not be handling artists and are moving away from the PSP world.
He said "Current license holders will be able to to get there downloads once the site is revamped.
As of January 1, 2007 GILD will no longer be handling any artists or tubes or images.
I assume the artists will be going with AMI, CILM, Stickerchicks, or selling on their own."
These are the words directly out of his mouth folks.

Now, obviously I can't vouch for the validity of this statement. But it would not surprise me in the least to find that it is true.
If you have previously bought a license you'll have one or several license numbers. You can still use one of them,
or use the first two letters of your first and last name on your tags. New buyers will have to do this as no new numbers are being issued.
So you will have to put "©artistsname, G.I.L.D., your letters or number" on your finished tag.
Take note, even if the artist has left GILD, the packs you bought from GILD are yours to use forever!!
