Template No 18 by Yvette, scroll down to downloads on the right.
You should have some knowledge of working with layers for this.
Open the template, make a duplicate and work on that. Delete the © layer and the smaller rectangle on the right. Resize the ppi resolution, first change the resolution to
72,000, then the percentage to 100% and check all layers. OK. Hide all layers but the backgrund and the dotted line. Make that one active.
Also open your kit in windows and the tubes you want to use in psp.
Now you will record a script. You may have to put that in your tools first. Go to View/Toolbar and click on script. Now click on the little circle in that toolbar.
That will start your recording. Now Selections/Select All, Selections/Float, Selections/Defloat/ Selections/Invert. Once you did that click on the little floppy disk icon
to save your script. I named mine TempLayerSelect. That's it.
Back on your tag paste a paper of choice as a new layer. Press delete on the keyboard. Delete the original dotted layer.
Make the next layer active, click on play to run your script. Paste a paper, press delete on the keyboard, delete the original layer.
Repeat for the other circle. Paste first a paper and then your close up tube onto the rectangle layer. Once you have those layers down, crop merged opaque and give all layers,
except for the tube layer, a dropshadow.
Duplicate the tube layer, gaussian blur of 3, chage the bland mode to screen and apply Xero Porcelain, put the blue channel to 0.
Apply TwoMoon/Wish it would rain. On the bottom tube layer apply TwoMoon/Venetian Builder.
Open a paper from the kit in psp and minimise it, take your rectangle tool, set vector, set the line width to 8, set the stroke material to pattern,
click on the pattern you see and find the paper. Draw a frame around the tube layer, convert to raster layer and give it a dropshadow.
Decorate to taste, I used the heart, a doodle, a lolli, a cupcake, a bow, a butterfly, a flower and a green twig.
Resize and integrate the full tube into the cluster you are creating. Cut off an overhangs with your selection tool and deleting.
Apply Xero/Porcelain with the same setting to the tube. Give all layers a dropshadow.
Paste a paper onto the background layer and apply the mask, merge group, delete the white background layer.
Add all credits legibly. Add your name and save as a png.
My second example uses art by Keith Garvey, who is also licensed through PTE. The font is QwitcherBychen.
