Supplies:
Paintshop Pro (I use V9)
Tube of choice, mine is by David Desbois and used with permission
A Scrap Kit, mine is Twilight by Seven's Scraps and you must purchase it to get creative with it.
Masks: One called !Torn, don't know where I got it, it rips a whole into the paper. And klipsbog_didda, find it under Bog3.
Font(s) of choice, mine is CBX Chippy Circles, you can find it at fonts101.
Filters: Xero, Tronds and Superblade Pro plus the candyapple preset, which you can get here. Unzip into the Environments and Textures folder of Superblade Pro.
Open the kit up in windows. Install Superblade Pro and unzip the preset into the above named folder. Open the tube in PSP, stick the masks into your mask folder. For the tag open a new canvas
600x400, for the forum set one 600x250 and one 150x150 px. Leave the avatar alone for now. Paste 2 papers from your kit into the other canvasses, Apply the !Torn mask and merge group for that layer.
Take your tube and paste it in between the paper layers. Add dropshadows to the tube and top layers. Add elements from the kit and merge visible when happy. Apply the klipsbog_didda mask and merge group.
Now duplicate that layer and apply Xero Fritillary to the top one. I used these settings: G14, A46, T30, V9. Change the blend mode to your taste, I chose soft light on the tag and lighten on the forum tag. Merge visible.
Select all, contract by 10 and invert. Apply Tronds filters, Brodere II. Go to Effects/ Inner Bevel with the settings below and deselect. Add a dropshadow.
For the avatar copy part of your tag merged into the canvas and work the border the same. Now add copyrights to all tags.
Pick a special shaped font. I used CBX Chippy Circles, pick a darker colour from your tag for the fill, no stroke.
Create the name as vector. In the layer palette click on the plus sign on the vector layer, your name appears, right click on it and choose convert text to curves as character shapes.
Click on each letter, swivel and move them as you wish. When happy, click on both minuses in the vector layers and convert to raster layer.
Select all, float, defloat. Find Flaming Pear/ SuperBladePro in your plugins. Load Preset (Click on disc with arrow to the right), you may have to now find the Environments and Textures folder, and choose M_candyapple.q5q. Apply and deselect.
Add a new raster layer, pull it underneath the name and with the selection tool set to rectangle make a rectangle behind the name, floodfill with a light colour and reduce opacity to 50. Deselect. If you did your name diagonal like me, then you need to use the
freehand selection tool to surround your name. Apply another effect like blinds if you wish and your're done.
