Supplies:
Paintshop Pro (I use V9)
Tube of choice, mine is by Jeni Burns and used with a Mistaken Art license
Font(s) of choice, mine are Abbieshire, AL Landscape & Bambino
Filters Mura's Meister Copies, Stylize, Lokas Software/3DShadow, Eye Candy5 Impact/ Gradient Glow (optional)
Mask MC_Mask12 and MC_Mask5 by Melissaz Creationz
Open a new canvas, 600x600 and paste your tube onto it. Apply Muras Meister Copies set to wallpaper. Apply Adjust/ Blur/ Motion Blur at angle 201 and strength 76%. Apply Effects/ Stylize/ Tiles. Set both values to 10 and fill with inverse Image. Duplicate this layer and apply mask MC_Mask12, merge group and add a dropshadow with a darkish colour, but not black. -2,-2,57,3 and again 2,2,57,3. I also changed the blend mode to darken. Merge this layer visible with the other tiled layer. Apply MC_Mask5 and merge group. Dropshadow, same settings as before, but black.
Now paste your tube again and resize if it's too large like mine. ;o) Image/ Mirror. Now we will use a script in PSP. I use V9 and I know this script is also in X3. You may now need to open the script toolbar. Go to View/Toolbar and activate Script. In the dropdown menu of this toolbar find 'Art'. Make sure the mirrored tube is active. Press Play next to the dropdown. And watch the tube change. You may not like the outcome, then find another script like colour sketch or similar and apply that to your tube.
Now you should have 3 layers of the tube, one with the blendmode set to Normal, one to Darken and one to Multiply. You can change these to suit your taste. I did. When you're happy, hide the background layer and merge the 3 tube layers visible. Unhide the background layer. I resized my tube layer even more and changed the blendmode to Overlay. Add a dropshadow. See my tag for placement.
Now paste your tube a third and final time. Resize to fit and add Lokas Software 3D Shadow.

Now add your text, I used Abbieshire and AL Landscape. I used the colour of the standing out word as my gradient glow for the black text. If you don't have Eyecandy Impact for this you can use a blurry coloured dropshadow.

For my name I used Bambino with both colours I used before and just added a dropshadow in black. Resize the entire tag if you wish and then add all credits legibly. And crop the tag merged opaque. Save as png.
For my second example I used a fabulous Mistaken Art Freebie by Danielle Pioli.
