You should have some knowledge of working with layers for this.
Open a new canvas, 600x250, copy and paste your tube onto it and duplicate it a few times, move the layers about until the entire canvas is covered, alternatively
use Muras Meister Copies. Merge visible. Blur/Radial Blur.
Now go to Effects/Artistic Effects/Colored Edges, set to 31,3, a colour to suit your tube and 7. Then apply Effects/ArtisticEffects/Halftone
with the settings below.
Effects/EdgeEffects/Enhance. With your magic wand, tolerance and feather set to 0, click on one of the lighter lines in your tag, What you see as diagonal stripes in the screenie above.
Selection/Modify/Select Similar. The whole canvas should be kinda stripey now. Make two duplicates of that layer.
Apply noise to each of those layers. Set to uniform, monochrome 22%, 23% and 24% repectively. Deselect.
Paste your tube onto the toplayer, give it a dropshadow. Make a duplicate. Apply a Gaussian Blur of 5. Onto this layer also apply VM Extravaganza/Transmission.
Change the blendmode to soft light or one that suits your art. Add noise to that layer also.
Now take your rectangle tool, foreground nil, background set to your complimenting colour, create on vector. Draw a rectangle on one side of your canvas, see my tag for guidance, convert to raster layer.
Apply Becky Mask41, set fit to layer (not canvas), merge group and maybe you need to mirror it and place it where it was before. To this layer apply Effects/Texture Effects/Weave.
Set to 1,4,1 and choose a dark and lighter grey for the wave and gap colours.
Add a new raster layer on top, Selections/Select All. Selections/Modify/Selection Borders set to both sides, antialias checked and 5. Floodfill this with a dark colour from your tube, add noise.
Select none. Add your quote. Add all credits legibly, add your name with a dropshadow.
Hide the 2nd and 3rd layer from the bottom, right click on the tag, copy merged and paste into AS as New Animation. In PSP, hide bottom layer,
unhide 2nd layer, copy merge and in AS paste after current frame. Do the same for the 3rd layer. Edit/Select all. Animation/Frame Properties, change to 15. Save as a gif.
My second example features the sexy artwork of Amy Matthews, she is also licensed through CDO. The font is Licorice.
