Supplies:
Paintshop Pro (I use V9)
Tube of choice, my utter cuteness is by Maryline Cazenave and used with a CDO license
Font(s) of choice, mine are Bank Gothic Light BT, Cinema and Mr Sheffield
Filters Mura Meister Copies, Fantastic Machines/Paint Engine, Toadies Distort/Turn your inside outside, Eye Candy 5 Impact and AAA Frames/Fotoframe
Open a new canvas, 600x250 and make a gradient from 2 colours of your tube, set to linear style, angle 45, repeats 3. Floodfill your canvas with this gradient. Paste your tube on top of it. Apply Muras Meister Copies with these settings.

Then apply Fantastic Machines/Paint Engine, I hit randomize a few times and used these settings.

Okay, next filter, lol. This time Distort/ Turn your inside outside. Apply this twice. Change the blendmode of this layer, I used Luminance. Merge visible. Paste your tube at it's max size and place it to the left, change the blend mode, I chose Luminance (L) and set the opacity to 44. Paste your tube again, move it to the right and add a dropshadow.
Add your quote, and give it a gradient glow with Eyecandy 5 Impact. Add the company initials. If you also want to add words to the letters, you need to make sure the all line up properly. For this go to view/grid and sit the words on top of a line. Undo the grid view when your done, it's only irritating.
Make a duplicate of your tag so far and minimise for now, you'll make the avatar from it. On the original merge all visible.
Apply AAA Frames/Fotoframe. Width 8, Opacity 80 and stroke set to 255, leave all other as they are. Add your credits legibly, I used FFF Galaxy, a freebie. Add your name with a script font in a contrasting colour. Save as jpg.
Bring up your duplicate, activate the crop tool and set to 150x150. Now find a section you like for your ava. Crop. Delete the layers you don't need, merge visible, apply the Fotoframe with the same settings. Add credits, no url necessary. Add your initial or name and save as jpg.
In my second example I used art by Lorenzo Sperlonga, whose art is also available at CDO. The font is Qwigley.
