Supplies:
Paintshop Pro (I use V9)
Tube of choice, mine is by Jason Casteel, used with a personal permission.
Font(s) of choice, mine are uncletypewriter, Pantagruel, TagsXtreme and SandyTextHmk
Filters VM Toolbox, Xero 1&2, XE Extras/Elemental, Andrews Filter Collection 56, penta.com, AAA Frames/Texture Frame.
All these can be found through google, if you don't have them already.
Open a new canvas, 600x250 and floodfill with a solid colour or gradient that goes with your tube. Now we'll apply lots of filters.
VM Toolbox/ Grid. I used 64, 97, 82, 19 and the rest to 255.
Xero Artgrain at default, that will add the noise.
Xero Skycleaner at default, this will make the white in the grid transparent.
XE Extras/ Elemental, customise, I set mine to fire in the upper set, but also used other settings, just have a play.
Paste your tube, apply Andrews Filter Collection 56/ Black Cat in a Black.... And then penta.com/ Dot and Cross at 53, 10, 8 twice. Add a dropshaow, I used -2, -2, 57, 6, black. Paste the tube again, resize a little, mirror it if you like and add the same dropshadow. Merge all visible and add a dropshadow. To the one with the Ross Campbell tube I applied another filter to the background.
Now apply AAAFrames/Texture Frame 11, 39, -50, 3, 100.
Add credits, your name and any additional text you fancy.
For the avatar duplicate your tag, set the crop tool to 150x150 and choose a square, crop. Delete any layers you don't want, apply the frame filter. add credits and your initial or name.
And you're done.

This for my never-tiring participant in Tube of the Day, who always makes me lots of lovely gifts!!
Carla aka HaleysNanna, thanks hun!!
