You should have some knowledge of working with layers for this.
Open the notepad, resize it, set the resolution to 72.000 pixels per inch and the percantage to 80%, all layers checked.
Select the writing area with your selection tool, and paste the close up as a new layer. Invert the selection and delete.
Now feather the selection to the amount of 25 and hit the delete 2 or 3 times. Deselect.
Apply Screenworks/Dot Screen, change the blendmode of your tube, I used Burn. Merge visible and resize by 80%.
Change the canvas size to 600x600, free rotate the notepad 12 degrees to the right or left. Sharpen/unsharp mask: 0,68 55 2 Luminance unchecked.
Paste a paper and move it under the notepad. Apply the mask made by Cat. Merge group. Add your full tube and decorate your tag with the elements from the kit.
Don't forget to add dropshadows. ;o) If your tube has a straight edge like mine, then select the bottom edge with your selection tool, set the feather to 25 and hit delete
a few times till it looks nice with the background. Resize all layers 80%. I sharpened my main tube after this.
Add all credits legibly. And a word or quote to the tag that fits in with the theme. Add your name and save as a png.
For my second example I used Screenworks/Light Gauze and changed the blend mode to Hard Light. You have to see what suits the art best.
