Supplies:
Paintshop Pro (I use V9)
Tube of choice, mine is by Fred Winkler and used with a CILM license
A Scrap Kit, mine is by Candys Treats and it's a freebie called Bleeding Love. Thanks Diane. xxx
Font(s) of choice, mine is Platinum and A&S Snapper Script on my second example.
Mask BabesDesignz-Mask29, sadly BabesDesignz blog is closed, so I included the mask for now.
Filters Eyecandy 5/Impact, Gradient Glow (optional)
Open a new canvas, 500x500 and paste paper6 onto it. Apply the mask and merge group. Next paste the frame onto that,
Select a circle with your freehand selection tool set to point to point along the leaves. Paste the other paper below the
frame layer, Selections/Invert and hit delete on your keyboard. I lowered the opacity of that paper a little, so the white isn't sooo white. ;o)
Deselect. Now take your tube and paste it on top of the frame layer.
Take the selection tool again and make a rough selection of the frame parts you want above the tube. Lower the opacity of the tube for this so you can see better.
Make the frame layer active and promote selection to layer. Deselect and move the layer with the promoted part above the tube layer. If any
of your tube sticks out at the bottom of the frame, please select those parts and delete them. My tube came with the roses
on an extra layer, I put that above the frame and deleted parts that were sticking out too much. Give the tube a dropshadow.
Hide the group layer and merge visible.
Now I took the doodle and pasted it below the merged layer, resize 70%, move it to the bottom and left so it sticks out under the frame, see my tag please.
Now duplicate and mirror, merge down. Duplicate and flip, merge down and apply your dropshadow twice.
Then add elements from the kit. I placed the heart string to the left, the leaf on the right, I rotated the branch to it lay the same direction as the leaf.
Then I added the flowers, make sure you resize them all at different percentages. I also added the lil love ribbon, add dropshadows to all layers.
Now resize all layers if you wish, add your credits legibly and add your name. I used the font Platinum, with a black fill and
the stroke set to 2 with colour #776b65. I applied a very slight gradient glow with colour c0c0c0 to it and a dropshadow. Save as png. Done ;o)
