Font(s) of choice, mine is Mutlu.
Filters VM Toolbox Blast, AAA Frames
Animation Mine are from motzgraphics.com. I chose Dots3, click on Color Choices to find your colour.
OK, let's start. I made a forum set, open a transparent canvas 600x250. Paste your images, I used 3, onto your canvas. Arrange them next to each other, I had to resize mine, also it's nice when the faces are all around the same size. They are overlapping with straight edges right now. Take your Selection tool and select the entire inside edge of your left image, which should be the uppermost in your layer palette. Go to Selections/Modify/Feather, set the value to between 25-38. Hit delete on your keyboard, until you have a nice cloudy feathery overlay over the image below. Deselect.
Now make the right image active, take it to the top and select the entire inside edge like you did with the left image. Repeat the steps you did before. Should you now see the straight edges of the middle image you can try feathering it slightly too. Or maybe it is possible to move the outer images back towards the middle a little. But you need to make sure you don't have too much transparency showing. I did not fill a layer behind with anything cos I wanted to just see the art. Once happy with your arrangement merge visible. Adjust/Hue and Saturation/ Colorize: Put both values to 0 to greyscale.
Add a new raster layer, in your foreground colour, go to pattern and choose a gorjuss pattern you fancy for your blend. Floodfill the raster layer with it. Set the blendmode to overlay. Merge visible. Duplicate this layer and apply a gaussian blur of 15. Go to VM Toolbox and apply Blast, change the blendmode to screen and merge visible. Now apply AAA Frames/FotoFrame, width at 17. Add all credits now, see mine for placement and merge visible.
Selections/Select all/modify, contract 17 and invert. Set this aside for now and open Animation Shop. Open the gif you chose in AS. Edit/Select all. Right click and copy. Back to PSP, paste as new image. Layers/View/None. Unhide the bottom layer, make it active. Go back to your blend. Duplicate your blend layer until you have the same amount the animation has, mine has 8. Hide the top 7 blank layers and activate the 8th. You shoud still have it selected. ;o)
The foreground is still set to pattern, find the animation. Floodfill. Unhide the 2nd layer of the ani parts on both images and make them active. You must hide the bottom layer on the ani, only ever have the active layer on show. In the pattern style box you're always wanting to choose the image name, mine is Image3. Floodfill the 2nd layer. Carry on like this until you have all 8 layers filled. Select none. Save as a pspfile. Open in AS. Play it, I left the speed at 10. If it has a frame that seems to stay longer, you made a mistake in your flodfilling and filled the same twice.
Add the name in psp, give it effects or a dropshadow. Copy and paste in AS as a new animation. Go to the tag in AS. Edit/select all. Activate Propagate paste. Copy the name frame again and paste into selected frame on the tag. Save as gif. Undo if you want to add more names.
My second example uses the art of Zindy Nielsen and the tile Stripe02. The font is TK Doodle.
